Projects within the branch are focused primarily in the area of multi-mission data systems focusing on global products covering a long time span of measurements. Key activities described below include: developing inexpensive high performance data systems for the production and distribution of science products from earth-observing instruments, developing, integrating and testing science software for global product generation, quality assurance and validation of global and regional products, rapid generation of custom products to support national and international applications and outreach to the science community and general public.
