Central Operation of Resources for Educators
CORE is a worldwide distribution center for NASA's multimedia and print materials.

NASA's Center for Distance Learning

  • NASA's Kids Science News Network
    KSNN ™ is a Web- and video-based program for everyone who wants to know why things work or what makes things happen. Grades K-5.


  • NASA SCIence Files Series ™
    This is a series of 60-minute instructional programs that are free, interactive, closed-captioned, and standards-based for grades 3-5.


  • NASA CONNECT ™
    This is a series of 30-minute instructional programs that use NASA projects, facilities, and researchers to emphasize mathematics, science, geography, and technology in grades 5-8.


  • NASA LIVE: Learning through Interactive Videoconferencing Experiences
    This is a series of synchronous (two-way) videoconferencing programs for learning, instructional enrichment, and professional development for students and faculty by engaging them in an interactive, virtual environment with NASA researchers. (NASA Langley Research Center)


  • NASA's Destination Tomorrow ™
    This is a series of 30-minute educational television programs that focuses on NASA research, past, present, and future, and is designed for educators, parents, and adult (lifelong) learners.

NASA's Classroom of the Future
COTF highlights technology activities such as workshops, news and events, CD-ROMs, 21st Century Teacher Initiative, the Challenger Learning Center, and related NASA technology programs.

NASA's Digital Learning Network
This network of videoconferencing programs enhance NASA's capability to deliver unique content by linking customers with one or more NASA Centers in an integrated fashion.

NASA's Educator Resource Centers
The ERCs provide educators with inservice and preservice training, demonstrations, and access to NASA instructional products.

NASA E-Missions
Interactive videoconferencing activities can bring relevance and excitement to the classroom.

NASA's Learning Technologies Project
This project funds activities and collaborates with endeavors that incorporate NASA content with revolutionary technologies or innovative use of entrenched technologies to enhance education in the areas of math and science.

NASA Quest
This project invites students and teachers to communicate with NASA scientists and researchers through frequent live, interactive events that allow participants to come and go as dictated by their own individual and classroom needs
