Pension Protection Act of 2006
The Pension Protection Act of 2006, H.R. 4, was signed into law by President Bush on August 17, 2006, and become Pub. L. No. 109-280. This legislation provides for stronger pension funding rules, greater transparency and a stronger pension insurance system.
