Starting salary of $ 51,873 plus benefits.

Applications are currently being accepted for the Health Facility Quality Examiner Supervisor position employed by the PA Department of Health. This position is responsible for supervising and directing Health Facility Quality Examiners who inspect and survey healthcare facilities/providers to determine if they meet licensure standards and legal requirements, such as the Federal Medicare/Medicaid Regulations and the PA State Health Department rules and regulations for health care facilities.

Currently there are 2 vacancies in Allegheny County. Additional opportunities may occur due to normal turnover from retirements, etc.

Eligibility requirements:
Two years of health care facility survey experience and a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training. PA residency is also required.
