Youth Engaged in Service

Volunteering in the United States is at an all-time high and many of these volunteers are young people. In fact, more than half (59%) of America's teenagers say they volunteered in the previous 12 months. However, for youth from disadvantaged circumstances, the percentage is much lower—43%.
