Council Description
As aptly stated in the Citizen Corps materials, a primary objective of the local council is to match the needs of the first responders with the skills and abilities of volunteers to make their families, their homes, and their communities safer from the threats of terrorism, crime, and disasters. The Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus has an Emergency Operating Plan which provides the guidelines for meeting the L.E.P.C. goals and all the emergency services operate under its auspices to provide a safer community.
