Council Description
The El Dorado County Local Disaster Council is formed pursuant to the Emergency Services Act, Government Code Sections 8550-8668, and El Dorado County Ordinance Code Sections 2.42.030-2.42.060. The Council shall advise and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on all matters pertaining to planning for a state of war, planning for state and local emergencies, recommending revisions to the county emergency plan, recommending emergency and mutual aid plans and agreements, and recommending ordinances ro resolutions which are necessary to implement such plans and agreements.
