Council Description
The West Valley Citizen Corps Council was brought together to oversee the volunteer programs that are active in West Valley. With a population of 115,000, the second largest city in Utah has dozens of active neighborhood watch programs and an active CERT program. With over 1,000 citizens trained in CERT West Valley is preparing now for the disasters and events that could impact our community. The council is made up of representatives of the city management, fire and police departments as well as concerned citizens from the community.
