Installation: Copy Grid_.class to the plugins folder and restart ImageJ.
Description: This plugin creates a non-destructive grid of lines , crosses or points on the current image or stack. You can specify the the grid type (lines, crosses or points), the area per point (in pixels or physical units), and the color.

The are a couple of ways to save the image with the grid superimposed. One is to click on the "Export Image" button in the Cell Counter plugin. Another is to capture the screen by pressing shift-g (Plugins>Utilities>Capture Screen), selecting the image and cropping by pressing shift-x (Image>Crop).

The previous version of this plugin (renamed Grid2) is also available (Grid2_.java, Grid2_.class).
