Abstract

The offices of the American Outreach Association, a grass roots nonprofit organization, were established in 1989 to collect and distribute accurate information to the public, and to provide educational training services to homes, communities, and schools. The AOA strives to awaken and educate society to the current level of abuse from alcohol, tobacco, drugs and other harmful substances. Positive and early intervention, which changes attitudes and behavior, is the key. "A penny of prevention is worth the many dollars for a cure."
