Abstract

The Medicare Rights Center (MRC) provides hotline counseling services to people with Medicare around the country who have questions or need help getting Medicare to cover their care. In addition, MRC’s education department offers people with Medicare and those who counsel them—healthcare providers, social service workers, family members, and others- information and assistance through Medicare interactive, a virtual counseling tool available trough the organization’s website. MRC is the largest independent source of information and assistance in the United States for people with Medicare. Founded in 1989, MRC helps older adults and people with disabilities get good, affordable health care.
