Goodwill Industries International, Inc. is North America's leading nonprofit provider of vocational rehabilitation and employment services for people with disabilities and other special needs. Goodwill provides leadership and assistance to organizational members in their efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of rehabilitation services, provide guidance and support, and further the relevance of Goodwill Industries in a changing society. Goodwill comprises the world's largest network of privately operated vocational rehabilitation programs with 215 autonomous, community-based organizations located throughout the United States, and Canada and 24 other countries. In 1994, Goodwill has served 448,563 people with disabilities and other special needs in its vocational rehabilitation and employment programs. There also are 48 affiliated Goodwill agencies in 34 countries around the world providing training, employment and opportunities for personal growth.
Publications
Goodwill's Corporate Headquarters, located in Bethesda, Maryland, has prepared a catalogued list of publications for use by its member organizations and in its training programs. Public access materials range from pamphlets to video training programs. Copies of Working! magazine (published quaterly) also are available by request.
