Program Spotlight

Below are examples, case studies, and reports from exemplary AmeriCorps projects.  Included is information on the program, observable results, why it works, lessons learned, and contact information for each project.

Click on a project title to read the details.

Lewis-Clark AmeriCorps Program
The Lewis-Clark Service Corps AmeriCorps program is based at Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston, ID, but that doesn’t mean all the AmeriCorps members are college students. The 75 members include students, recent graduates, and people who have not attended college.

Vermont's VCSP AmeriCorps
AmeriCorps members serving with the Vermont Community Stewardship Program can focus their efforts either on housing issues, such as helping low-income families become homeowners, or on environmental issues, such as maintaining trails or teaching schoolchildren about Vermont’s natural wonders.

AmeriCorps ACCESS
Based at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, AmeriCorps ACCESS serves the needs of immigrants and refugees in numerous communities across the state, placing more than 50 members with nonprofit agencies.
