Collaboration with AmeriCorps

Collaborations in Promoting Volunteering

AmeriCorps works with organizations of all sizes to put AmeriCorps members and volunteers to work in improving their communities. Generation of volunteers is one of the most important roles AmeriCorps can play for your organization. Each AmeriCorps member typically recruits and manages an average of twelve community volunteers. Most national service participants serve in local, community-based organizations, expanding their capacity to achieve their mission and building community involvement and support.

Each year, thousands of members at nonprofits, public agencies, and faith-based and community organizations engage in intensive service to meet critical needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. Learn about how your organization can work with AmeriCorps.

Corporate Collaborations

The Corporation also collaborates with private organizations to provide support for community initiatives that help meet the needs of communities and engage Americans in service.
