GAO reviewed the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) new rule on regulations for the air carrier guarantee loan program. GAO found that (1) the rule would set forth the procedures for applications and minimum requirements for the issuance of federal credit instruments under section 101(a)(1) of the Air Transportation Safety and System Stabilization Act and (2) OMB complied with applicable requirements in promulgating the rule.
