About Training
Training is a key element in the successful prevention of injuries and illnesses and is recognized as an essential building block of an effective occupational health program.  Used appropriately, it is the agent for giving workers the knowledge to work safely both at work and at home.   Many OSHA standards have training as a required and foundational element of a program.  Summarized here are some of the training resources available to help you meet these requirements.  
NASA Safety Training Center (NSTC)
The NSTC offers agency-wide Health and Safety Training for the benefit of all the NASA Centers Health and Safety programs. Both a are available online. Accessible only to users at NASA Centers.
Occupational Health Training Centers
  • NIOSH Education and Research Centers (ERCS)
    Through university-based Education and Research Centers , NIOSH supports academic degree programs and research training opportunities in the core areas of industrial hygiene, occupational health nursing, occupational medicine, and occupational safety, plus specialized areas relevant to the occupational safety and health field.
  • OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers
    OSHA Training Institute Education Centers are a cooperative effort of the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration and colleges and universities to provide the most current training in safety and health compliance standards.
