  • The Advanced National Seismic System Logo

The USGS Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS) Program, in Golden, Colorado : The Geomagnetism Program has benefited from the sharing of Earthworm software and expertise in development of the Program’s real-time internet data transportation system. The ANSS has seismometers located on the Fredericksburg, Newport, and Sitka geomagnetic observatory sites.

  • The Albuquerque Seismological Laboratory Logo

The USGS Albuquerque Seismological Laboratory (ASL), which is also part of the Golden Geohazards Team: The ASL has seismometers located on the Guam, College, and San Juan geomagnetic observatory sites.

  • The National Telecommunications and Information Administration Logo

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) of the Department of Commerce, in Boulder, Colorado: The USGS operates its Boulder geomagnetic observatory on a site overseen by NTIA.

  • The Climate Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratory Logo

The Climate Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratory (CMDL) of NOAA, in Boulder, Colorado: The CMDL assists in the operation of the Barrow observatory for the Geomagnetism Program.

  • The National Geodetic Survey Logo

The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) of NOAA, in Silver Spring, Maryland: The NGS operates an global positioning system (GPS) station, and other survey equipment, at the Fredericksburg geomagnetic observatory site under terms of a memorandum of agreement with the USGS.

  • The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) of NOAA in Honolulu: The PTWC assists in the operation of the Honolulu geomagnetic observatory under terms of a memorandum of agreement with the USGS and its Geomagnetism Program. On-site Geomagnetism Program staff help the PTWC with their operations and out-reach efforts at Guam.

  • The Alaskan Tsunami Warning Center

The Alaskan Tsunami Warning Center (ATWC) of NOAA in Anchorage: The ATWC has a seismometer located on the College and Sitka geomagnetic observatory sites.

  • The Forest Service Logo

The Forest Service of the US Department of Agriculture: The Fresno and Newport geomagnetic observatories are operated on Forest Service property and under agreements with the USGS and its Geomagnetism Program.

  • The National Park Service Logo

The National Park Service of the Department of the Interior: The Del Rio and Tucson geomagnetic observatories are operated on Park Service property and under agreements with the USGS and its Geomagnetism Program.

  • The U.S. Air Force Logo

The US Air Force of the Department of Defense: The Guam geomagnetic observatory is operated on Air Force property and under agreement with the USGS and its Geomagnetism Program.

The Shumagin Native Corporation: The Shumagin geomagnetic observatory is being installed on Shumagin Native Corporation property and under agreement with the USGS and its Geomagnetism Program.

  • The Defense Threat Reduction Agency Logo

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) of the Department of Defense, in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia: As part of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, the DTRA supports an infrasound facility located on the Newport geomagnetic observatory site, under terms of a memorandum of agreement with the USGS and its Geomagnetism Program.

  • The Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska Logo

The Geophysical Institute (GI) of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks: The College geomagnetic observatory is located on the College International Geophysical Observatory (CIGO), which is managed by the GI under terms of a memorandum of agreement with the USGS and the Geomagnetism Program. The GI and the Geomagnetism Program are cooperating on the development of a small magnetometer-calibration facility on the CIGO site. A seismometer operated by the GI is located on the Barrow geomagnetic observatory site.

  • The Puerto Rican Seismic Network Logo
