Public MCH Program Functions Framework: Essential Public Health Services to Promote Maternal and Child Health in America—Full Report

This report presents a framework for defining the functions that should be carried out by State and local Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Programs. It provides an overview of 10 essential public health services needed to assure maternal and child health. It describes the functions of MCH programs, and presents examples of Federal, State, and local programs that implement these program functions.
