Library users will be able to request materials via the ILLiad system beginning Tuesday, September 3rd.
ILLiad is a new tool for requesting and tracking materials through NIST Interlibrary Loan. The ILLiad system
lets you log in from any web browser to see a list of your outstanding requests and their current status.
Visit the NIST Virtual Library home page beginning September 3rd to set up your ILLiad account and
begin requesting loans and photocopies through the ILLiad request screens. You may access Illiad here. Using ILLiad will allow you
to
- display a list of loaned items currently checked out to you
- display a history of your requests
- quickly request renewals or extensions on book loans
- easily resubmit requests that were previously unfillable
The NIST Interlibrary Loan department can help you with using ILLiad. Please direct any questions or
comments to illstaff@nist.gov or call 301-975-2798.
We are also providing training sessions on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:00pm on September 4th, 11th, and 18th.
Please come to the Library, Room 207 (upper level) for a demonstration.
