Custer, KY Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty On Federal Meth Charges SEPT 12 -- (Louisville, KY) - Freddie Lee Stalkup, age 68, of 8384 E. Highway 86, Custer, Kentucky, entered a plea of guilty on September 11, 2008, to charges of distribution of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky announced today. The guilty plea was taken in Lexington, Kentucky before United States District Judge Jennifer B. Coffman. Law enforcement officials arrested Stalkup in Breckinridge County, Kentucky on February 20, 2008, and seized an unopened postal envelope from him that contained 103 grams of methamphetamine. In total, Stalkup was responsible for 238 grams of methamphetamine. These illegal drugs had a street value of more than $23,000. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John E. Kuhn, Jr., and it was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
