Description:
Primarily focused on transportation with an emphasis on highway engineering; smaller collections in other modes. Small reference collection.

Special Collections:
TRB Annual Meeting Unpublished Preprints from 1980 to the present
Complete collection of Transportation Research Board, Highway Research Board, Cooperative Research Programs
Strategic Highway Research Program publications. Library also maintains a collection of AASHTO publications.

Any Conditions: Appointment necessary

Interlibrary Loan Policies: Up to 5 requests accepted at one time via OCLC, ALA form, fax, phone, email (jfomalont@nas.edu), or letter. Material is usually lent for 1 month.

Loan Fees: Free to transportation and federal libraries, but a $10 charge to all other libraries.

Photocopy Fees: $0.10 cents per page/orders for out-of-print TRB publications are charged $0.30 cents per page

Service Fees: No charge for TRB publication searches.
