There are two versions of AirMISR read software available. The table below summaries the properties of the two versions:

The read_airmisr_v3 software can be downloaded as a tar file containing three files,
read_airmisr_v3.taror the three files contained in the tar file may be downloaded separately.

The original read_airmisr software is a single IDL source code file, read_airmisr.pro. Installation and program execution instructions can be found in sections 5 through 7 of the Readme document for any of the earlier AirMISR data sets.
The IDL Virtual Machine is a free runtime version of IDL available from ITT Visual Information Solutions at http://www.ittvis.com/idlvm/. The IDL VM software may be downloaded from this site or ordered from ITT VIS on CD at no cost. The site provides installation instructions.
