How can I sign up to receive FCIC's free New for Consumers feature releases and Federal Consumer Focus live announce copy?

You can receive our releases in the format that is most convenient for you. You can get them on good, old-fashioned paper, or electronically via e-mail. To receive them on paper, call our Media Hotline at 202-501-1794 or e-mail us. To receive them by e-mail, sign up for our Media E-Mail list.

How do I get free review copies of FCIC publications I would like to feature?

To receive free review copies of all of our publications, just give our Media Staff a holler and let them know the name and Item number of the publications you are interested in. You can contact them through our Media Hotline at 202-501-1794 or by e-mail.

I'm working on a story and need an interview with or quote from a government spokesperson. How do I find the right person to contact?

Just give the FCIC Media Staff a call at 202-501-1794 or send them an e-mail. We'll point you in the right direction with the name and contact information of the person you need to speak to. And if we can't give you that information immediately, we'll call back promptly with the information. And we'll do everything we can to meet your deadline!

How do you promote through the media?

To promote the Catalog and its publications, FCIC works daily with newspapers, magazines, television and radio stations, and other media outlets.

Through public service advertising, press releases, and radio scripts, Federal Citizen Information Center spreads the word to consumers across the country, helping them find the information they need.
