CO-OPS and NDBC IOOS Web Portal

NOAA's Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), in partnership with the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), has created an IOOS (Integrated Ocean Observing System) oriented Web portal.

The home page of CO-OPS

The IOOS Web Portal is a gateway to the information and services of CO-OPS, NDBC, the National Weather Service, and other partners participating in the Ocean.US IOOS. The portal provides users with access to NDBC's OPeNDAP/DODS Web page, CO-OPS' OPeNDAP for observational water level, meteorological and ancillary data, as well as the model data through OPeNDAP NetCDF data servers. These server access points make data available to users via well established and easy to use interfaces. In addition, Web Services are available for observational currents data, water levels data, and meteorological and ancillary data. Users may also access CO-OPS' real-time listing of active stations and the status of their sensors.
