Question - How do ticks hibernate?
-----------------
Ticks actually do not hybernate. They stay attached to a host, like a fox or
deer, feeding off of their blood and staying warm while riding on the hosts
body. If the temperature is 45 F or higher in the winter, ticks can be found
active on the ground. Colder winters kill off more ticks because they can
only survive with a host.
