HHS Assigns Deputy Health Attaché to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad

February 19, 2008 – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has assigned CDR Derwent “Buck” Daniel of the HHS Health Resources and Services Administration to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq.  CDR Daniel has most recently been serving at a Community Health Center in West Blocton, Alabama, and will join the incumbent Health Attaché, CDR Bruno Himmler, as part of the health team at the Embassy.  All of us at HHS thank CDR Daniel for his service, and look forward to his reports from the field.
