Electronic JournalsView the titles and holdings of full-text electronic journals currently accessible to NIST researchers. New BooksView and request the most recent additions to the Library's book collection. New Books are kept for one week on the New Books shelf next to the Circulation Desk. To see new books from previous weeks, consult the notebook on the New Books shelf. Holds can be placed through the online catalog or by filling out a paper hold request form at the New Books shelf. Virtual CollectionsVirtual Collections are Library resources that are related by topic, but not necessarily shelved together. Virtual Collections are created and displayed within the Library's online catalog. To physically locate a title in a virtual collection, check for the Library location at the bottom of the record in the online catalog. SFA Virtual CollectionsFour separate virtual collections cover Biotechnology, Biosystems and Health, Homeland Security, and Nanotechnology. Date coverage varies by collection.
