Grantee Support
  • Contractors provide services to active grantees, if you are interested in applying for an IAF grant please refer to the IAF GUIDELINES FOR GRANT PROPOSALS and send a summary of your project to proposals@iaf.gov.

  • The Foundation Representative (FR) is a full-time IAF employee assigned responsibility for a specific country or countries. The FR sets the direction for the program in that area; analyzes relevant proposals; visits projects under consideration for funding; presents those feasible to the review committee for its decision; and works with the applicant to finalize technical details in the proposal and the grant agreement. As the grantee's primary IAF contact, the FR oversees the disbursement process and monitors progress via annual site visits. To contact a Foundation Representative, click here.
  • Local Liaison and Advisory Services (LLAS) contractors offer support to IAF grantees in most country where IAF funds projects. Local liaisons also share information on IAF programs and advise organizations on how to apply for grants. They facilitate communication between IAF grantees and Foundation Representatives (FRs) and guide IAF grantees as to IAF procedures and requirements. At IAF's direction , local liaisons assist grantees with training and technical assistance needs. E-mail: info@iaf.gov.

  • Data Verifiers (DV) are independent contractors who work with the IAF's Office for Evaluation to ensure the accuracy of results indicator data collected by grantees for IAF's Grassroots Development Framework (GDF) database. The data verifiers visit grantees twice a year to confirm information recorded for use in tracking project results. They also provide advice to grantees on data collection methods. Questions on the GDF can be directed via e-mail: info@iaf.gov.

  • Auditors are contracted in-country to visit grantees on site and conduct financial audits, generally six and 18 months after project initiation and after completion. They respond to inquiries on financial record keeping, audit procedures and recommendations. Questions can be directed to IAF auditors via e-mail: info@iaf.gov.
