Question - How do they actually get pictures of our galaxy?
---------------------------------------
Jo,
I had this same question myself a while back! We actually do not have
pictures of the Milky Way. We just have pictures of other spiral arm
galaxies which we know are the same general shape and form of our galaxy.
In order to have pictures of the Milky Way, we would have to have probes
that went out beyond our galaxy (which we do not).
