Chlorinated pools

Question:
Why does your hair turn green when you go in a chlorinated pool?

Answer 1:  Gee, that never happened to me....
Maybe you can only have this happen if you are blond?

Sounds like they might have an algae problem in that pool..
I always thought chlorinated water tended to bleach your hair,
not turn it green.
