Question - Why do acids and bases cause a chemical reaction?
-----------------
Destiney M.,

Acids and bases mixed together cause a chemical reaction because acid ions in solution and
base ions in solution combine with each other to form a salt and liquid water. I hope that
this helps.

Sincerely,

Bob Trach
