Question - The Berkely Open Pit in Butte, MT was filled with water after the copper was
mined out. The water has elements of copper, lead, zinc and arsenic and it is 900 feet
deep. It is highly acid. Could it be turned into a giant wet-cell battery? What would
you use for plates?

Unfortunately, this toxic brew is all short circuited to "ground", so I do not see any
way of converting it into a battery.
