Pigments in Plants
Sunday, February 23, 2003
name Ellen N.
status educator
age 40s
Question - How does one learn what pigments are in various plants,
especially those that are used as natural dyes? I am wondering which
natural dyes are sensitive to pH and would suppose that the presence of
anthocyanins would tell me that. Are other pigments pH sensitive?
