Question - I could not understand a terminology type-I and
type-II enzymes could you please tell me what are these and how
they are related to DNA ?
---------------------------------------
You are probably referring to DNA polymerase I, DNA polymerase II and DNA
polymerase III. DNA polymerase III is the real DNA polymerase responsible
for replicatiion (synthesis) of the E.coli "chromosome". DNA poylmerases I
and II are responsible for repairing gaps in strands of DNA. Google the 3
types for more information.
