	There have been numerous inquiries as to whether the Justice Department will file an
appeal today in litigation over the Independent Counsel's effort to compel the testimony of Secret
Service personnel.  





	Since this case is under seal, we will not be in a position to confirm, deny or otherwise
comment on whether the Justice Department has chosen to file a notice of appeal.





	We regret that we are not in a position to comment further.
