William T. Hiller

William T. Hiller is the executive director of the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. The foundation provides funds for K-16 programs and projects in Ohio, many of which promote literacy and literacy training of teachers. Previously, he was superintendent of schools for the 10,300-student Mentor Exempted Village Schools in Ohio.

Dr. Hiller believes in the work of the Governor's Ohio Reads program that provides funding for tutors, teacher training, and books. Over the years he has witnessed the power of tutoring and reading with children and adults.

Dr. Hiller received bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate in curriculum and supervision from the University of Pittsburgh.
