First Annual Western Berks Area Family Expo

| Description: |
State Representative Jim Cox will sponsor the first annual Western Berks Family Expo. The event will feature informational tables for various agencies/organizations serving the region. Over sixty organizations will be represented. There will be seminars on healthy cooking and internet safety. Screwball from the Reading Phillies and Eddie Eagle will also be on hand. Lunch will be available for purchase from a local FFA group and door prizes will be provided by many area businesses. The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and Pennsylvania Citizen Corps will also be there to hand out information on emergency preparedness and Citizen Corps programs. |
