Second Annual Disaster Preparedness Summit

The Second Annual Disaster Preparedness Summit is to educate the public on severe weather preparedness, electrical safety, Earthquake preparedness, individual and family Disaster Planning, assembling a Disaster Supplies Kit, and an introduction to Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) and Medical Reserve Corps. Plus, area responders will be showcasing some of their equipment and there will be a demonstration by a search and rescue dog team. Weather Radios, Fire detectors, disaster supply kit, first aid kits, and much more will be given away as door prizes. Admission will be one disaster supply kit item per person, list available at www.barrenriverhealth.org, to go to a low income senior in the BRADD area. |
