Held in September, this event brings professional storytellers from throughout the country to our area. Stories fro young and old, as well as a photography exhibit are featured. The day's activities culminate in ghost stories told around a campfire. Fun for all ages, this event is free and open to the public. Lawrence County Citizen Corps will participate in this annual event in an effort to bring emergency preparedness down to the level of children. The County Program Manager will be reading about Herman, P.I.C. and his hunt for a disaster proof shell and The Disaster Twins, Robby and Julie, and their efforts to become better prepared for disasters. Ms. Hensen will also be handing out emergency preparedness information out to the family members of the children attending the festival.
