CERT & MRC TRAILER RECIPIENT MOBILIZATION & TRAINING EXERCISE
Description:
In support of National Preparedness Month New Jersey Citizen Corps will be coordinating a mobilization and training exercise at the NJ State Police Academy in Sea Girt, NJ. This event will be open to only those CERT & MRC Teams that received a utility trailer. The following events are tentatively planned for the day: missing persons search, patient triage and treatment, fire suppression, cribbing, mobile command post operations, incident command and staging operations, and donations management. Reporting and check in time for trailer recipients will be from 7am-8:45am. The event will kick off at 9am sharp. This event will be supported and coordinated by the NJ Office of Emergency Management with support from our 21 County Offices of Emergency Management. Other supporting and assisting agencies will include the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, Civil Air Patrol, American Red Cross, NJ Task Force One, Adventist Community Services and the Salvation Army.
