Federal Elections 2006 Publication Available:

Compilation of Official Vote Totals in Federal Races

Federal Elections 2006:  Election Results for the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives is now available.  This biennial publication provides an accurate, historical record of federal election results, including primary, runoff and general elections.  Color maps, bar graphs and summary charts are also included to illustrate the data.

            The publication is available in both PDF and Excel formats on the FEC web site at http://www.fec.gov/pubrec/fe2006/federalelections2006.shtml.  A limited number of printed copies are available, and may be obtained by calling the Public Records Office at 800/424-9530 or 202/694-1120.

 

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is an independent regulatory agency that administers and enforces federal campaign finance laws. The FEC has jurisdiction over the financing of campaigns for the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate, the Presidency and the Vice Presidency. Established in 1975, the FEC is composed of six Commissioners who are nominated by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
