WASHINGTON, D.C. – Director Sharee M. Freeman of the Community Relations Service, U.S. Department of Justice, will attend U.S. House Representative Carrie Meek's field hearing on "Police Accountability in the African American Communities of Miami-Dade County" to hear concerns about police community relations and racial tensions arising from recent incidents of police use of force. U.S. House Judiciary Committee Ranking Minority Member John Conyers of Michigan will also participate in the hearing.
