The CFTC is a Federal agency that oversees the trading of futures and option contracts in the United States. Part of the CFTC’s mission is to protect market users and the public from fraud, manipulation, and abusive practices.

The CFTC investigates and brings actions against firms and individuals suspected of making fraudulent claims in selling commodity futures and options. Case Status Reports provide information on the status of Enforcement actions and links to relevant documents.
