The ETA program is available only in the United States and
its territories. The ETA program is
not available internationally.
However,
if you live outside of the U.S., and you receive Social
Security Administration (SSA) benefit or Office of Personnel
Management (OPM) annuity payments, you may be able to receive
your payment by Direct Deposit.
You
can choose to receive your Social Security Administration
(SSA) benefit payment by Direct Deposit in 40 international
countries. Currently, the Office of Personnel Management
(OPM) annuity payments are available only in Canada and
Italy

To set up Direct Deposit payments
overseas, or for more information, contact the SSA or OPM
directly, or the Federal Benefits Unit at the U.S. Embassy
in the country where you live. Payees residing in Canada
can choose to receive their payments either in Canadian
dollars or U.S. dollars (selection available on the enrollment
form).
