Intercontinental Chemical Transport Experiment - Phase B (INTEX-B)

Image representing the MISR project.

The Intercontinental Chemical Transport Experiment phase B aims to understand the transport and transformation of gases and aerosols on transcontinental/intercontinental scales and assess their impact on air quality and climate. Phase B will be performed March 1-31, 2006 and it will focus on Mexico City pollution outflow.

The Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) team defines the INTEX-B region by the lat/lon coordinates 18N, 85W to 32N, 100W which corresponds to MISR Paths 15 - 30 and Blocks 64 - 77.
