The Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum
DOE is working with the Department of State to organize an international ministerial-level panel that will meet regularly to discuss the growing body of scientific research and emerging technologies and plan joint projects for carbon sequestration. Read More >

FutureGen Clean Coal Projects
DOE aims to demonstrate cutting-edge carbon capture and storage technology at multiple commercial-scale integrated gasification combined-cycle plants. Once operational, each demonstration plant will sequester carbon dioxide at a rate of approximately one million tons per year. Read More >
