Learn the roles, skills and typical tasks of federal HR professionals acting as internal consultants. Learn about the changing roles of federal HR professionals with a focus on building partnerships with management. Learn and practice the five phases of consulting skills using case studies and exercises with direct application to federal HR positions and needs; understand the causes of client resistance and learn how to overcome the resistances; and identify various implementation strategies as internal HR consultants.
