Best Practices Diversity Council (BPDC)

The Best Practices Diversity Council is an initiative whose purpose is to strengthen Laboratory diversity efforts by taking advantage of accomplishments at the division level. Our goal is to provide a world-class work environment that can recruit and retain a workforce that reflects the diversity of the local community and the nation. The Council provides a forum for identifying and sharing programs and practices that have proven their effectiveness in enhancing diversity. According to prior Lab Director Charles Shank, the Council intends "to leverage the 'best-in-class' activities being undertaken by each division and implement these across the Laboratory."
