For over forty years, the Management Intern (MI) and Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Programs have graduated several of NIH's top leaders. Many interns have made advancements in their careers to senior level management in all areas of administration, including legislation, budget, planning and evaluation, grants management. In addition, there are presently several former interns serving as IC Executive Officers. The MI/PMF programs have played a direct role in training and guiding top administrative leaders at NIH.
