Abstract

The Nutrition Screening Initiative is a broad multidisciplinary effort led by the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Dietetic Association, National Council on the Aging, Inc. and a diverse coalition of over 25 national health, aging and medical organizations. Founded in 1989, the Initiative's goal is to accelerate the incorporation of nutrition screening and intervention into the nation's health care delivery system for older Americans.
